Conference and Function Rooms
The facilities consist of a conference/function room, equipped with
wood-burning stove, whiteboard, projection screen, flip charts etc, with
theatre-style seating for a maximum of approximately 30 persons and attached
Lapa. The room is laid out with tables and chairs as required,
with additional equipment such as projector, computer, TV/VCR being available
on request at a nominal charge. This room can
also be laid out as a private dining room for small groups.
Adjoining the
function room is the Lapa with an indoor 1.2m spit-braai, a fully equipped kitchen and
preparation area, with additional tables and seating outside under the Thatch. Beside the Lapa
is a fire-pit, popular with groups using the area in the evenings. The whole
facility therefore lends itself to small conferences and seminars, away-days
and private functions for a maximum of 32 persons, although by arrangement
other areas in the main lodge may be utilised to provide additional space. Advance
booking of these facilities is essential, although resident guests are
always welcome to use the Lapa and braai provided they have not been reserved
for another function.

building can also be used as the base for team-building weekends, for which we
can provide facilities on which a series of events can be based. See previous
